Don’t bring liquids in your carry on – avoid time delays and hassle at security by buying toothpaste, deodorant etc. when you arrive at your destination. Majority of the time it’s cheaper than buying travel sized options at home.
This one is for those with carry on again. When boarding the plane don’t leave it last minute, the earlier you get on the plane the higher the chance of getting room above your seat in the overhead locker for your bag for a smoother exiting
If you plan on drinking alcohol on the plane (this one is for spirit drinkers) – buy the small bottles of alcohol in duty free before heading to your departure gate, its much cheaper (4 bottles for €12 = 8 drinks).
When packing try and try on your outfits again to decipher what you will and won’t wear when you arrive at your destination. Truth is you will only wear what your absolutely comfortable in.
Shoes and more shoes! You don’t need them similar with clothes you are only going to wear what your more comfortable, holidays no matter where you go, entails a lot of walking.
I know what I said about clothes, but always bring extra underwear.
Bring a limited amount of cash with the rest safely on a card.
Always have your online banking set up and card tap enabled on your mobile, encase of lost or stolen incidences, you can freeze your card and still access your funds.
